#5

Early May in Shanghai started with rain, then a brief warm spell. Spring is packing its bags.

Notable Changes

linkdingX v1.2.0

Released v1.2.0 on May 8. This is a minor update with a handful of bugfixes and tweaks.

Fixed sync pipeline reliability issues, restored recursive auto-pagination, and resolved a concurrent request bug. Also optimized scroll listeners, prevented timer memory leaks, and reduced unnecessary re-renders.

Home Page enhancements

Added statistics to the Unsplash section — simulated to be realtime by using average growing speed. Also added an inset shadow to the promotional button for a bit more depth, and cleaned up how the statistics display across breakpoints.

Hexo Theme Cupertino fixes

Tackled Issue #90 — LaTeX overflow and code block gutter visibility on mobile. Both are now fixed and will ship in the next release.

Vernal Next.js migration

Migrated the entire site from Astro to Next.js with Velite for content management. The main goal was to fix nav cross-page animations. A nice side effect: a better social media post component.
